Diploma in Housekeeping is a certification course in which curative theoretical as well as practical knowledge to an individual is possessed regarding the maintenance of cleanliness and comfort where an individual works, mostly hotels and restaurants. There is a huge requirement of Housekeeping staffs all over the world and it can be any sector else than hotels also.
Students who have passed out class 110+2 students (any stream), must have studied English as one of the subjects are eligible to opt for this course.
The program involves in-depth practical work for students to achieve expertise in the operational areas of Food Production, Bakery, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. It also provides managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety & Quality, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management.
The B.Sc. – Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a program offered by IHM Hisar that was drafted with the following objectives:
- The course familiarizes the students with the Hospitality/Tourism Business & Management.
- The course is blend of theory and practical to develop a professional attitude & skills for trade in students.
- Being professional in nature the course aims to inculcate professional values & ethics with focus on hospitality/tourism management & operations.
- Various advancements in the catering technology are taught to the students as well.
